Dexys Midnight Runners | Searching For The Young Soul Rebels (30th Anniversary edition)

After stealing the master tapes of their debut album (and successfully renegotiating their record deal in the process) Dexys Midnight Runners released ‘Searching For The Young Soul Rebels’ in July 1980.

This 2CD set re-activates the 30th anniversary edition released in 2010, with the remastered original album and an accompanying disc of bonus material including John Peel and Kid Jensen sessions.

Iron Maiden | Somewhere in Time/ Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

The last two Iron Maiden vinyl picture discs, ‘Somewhere in Time’ and ‘Seventh Son of a Seventh Son’ will be released on 11th February. Each picture disc is packaged in a gatefold sleeve with full colour printed inner bags and the heavyweight vinyl is cut from the original album master tapes.

30 Something Special Edition

The special edition of Carter USM’s second album originally released in 1991 will include the original album remastered, a BBC In Concert session recorded on 7th December 1991, b-sides and the 7″ promo “Christmas Shoppers Paradise”. Released 5th November 2012.

1992 The Love Album Special Edition

Carter USM’s third album ’1992 The Love Album’ has been remastered for 2012 at Abbey Road, and now contains a 2nd bonus disc with b-sides, cover versions, and a previously unreleased Concert session, recorded live at Feile Festival, 31 July 1992. Released 5th November 2012.

David Bowie | The Jean Genie 40th Anniversary 7″ Picture Disc

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of ‘The Jean Genie’ a limited collectable 7” picture disc of the single will be released on 19th November 2012.

The b-side of this 40th anniversary version is the audio from the recently-recovered BBC Top Of The Pops performance of ‘The Jean Genie’ from January 1973, with both versions remastered by original Trident engineer Ray Staff.

Massive Attack | Blue Lines Remixed/Remastered Deluxe Box

On 19th November Massive Attack’s iconic Blue Lines album, remixed and remastered from the original tapes at the band’s studios in Bristol will be released as a deluxe box.

The deluxe box will contain the CD, DVD with 96K/24 bit high resolution audio files, the album split over two 180g vinyl LPs and the original 24” x 18” Blue Lines promo poster.

On 12th November all 14 classic studio albums by The Beatles will be released on 180-gram, audiophile quality vinyl with replicated artwork and special inner bags for some of the titles.

Each album will be available individually, and accompanied by a stunning 252-page hardbound book in a lavish boxed edition which is limited to 50,000 copies worldwide!

The book, exclusive to the boxed edition, is authored by award-winning radio producer Kevin Howlett and features a dedicated chapter for each of the albums, as well as insight into the creation of the remasters and how the vinyl albums were prepared.

A 35th Anniversary Vinyl Edition of their live double album originally released in October 1977 will also be released on 5th November 2012. The songs were recorded in Paris in 1976 and 1977 on their tours in support of ‘A Trick of the Tail’ and ‘Wind & Wuthering’.
