On 7th November EMI will release some of the most sort-after Deep Purple radio sessions ever recorded.
All recordings have been remastered specifically for this set.
DEEP PURPLE BBC SESSIONS 1968-1970 captures the classic Mark I and Mark II Deep Purple line up’s transition from a cult UK band to worldwide rock giants.
Available as a deluxe box featuring rare previously unreleased sessions and many stunning live in-studio performances; including their first ever BBC Session recorded before their debut single ‘Hush’ was released in 1968, plus cover versions of The Beatles ‘Help!’ & Donovan’s ‘Lalena’.
The package contains 2 Heavy weight LPs (180g), 2 CDs and a booklet containing rare photos and sleeve notes by Deep Purple archivist Simon Robinson.
